Summary: My husband, senior dog, and I had a wonderful stay on the property with kind and clear communication with Robert, the host.The property is prettier than pictures. We came in the winter while there was snow on the ground and the lake frozen. It was also peaceful and quiet throughout our stay with nearly no noise from neighbors or the road.To get to the property, you’ll have to park in a wide driveway and take steps down to the house. Even in the winter with freezing conditions, the area was more than adequately iced for myself (near 9 months pregnant) to walk down safely. There was one stretch of decline that looked scarier than it was but I was fine since the entire walk down has rails.The house is cozy and we really enjoyed the holiday themed decorations. Kitchen was well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the sleeping areas were warm even with it being 11 degrees outside the first day we arrived. The bathroom shower had good pressure and warm water. There was generous amounts of towels, linens, and bathroom amenities.All in all we practically stayed in the property the whole time except to go light grocery shopping or to get meals a few times. My husband and I both felt like it was a simple vacation but the most relaxing one we had in a while (especially as a quick getaway before baby arrives!).I’m really hoping to come back in the future during another season to enjoy the house and lake more with our little one and our dog again too. I definitely recommend!

Summary: Check in was a breeze. Robert was lovely and responsive. The photos do not do this property justice. We had a great time Stand Up Paddleboarding and swimming off the dock right in front of the house. We biked around the lake and enjoyed it. My dog loved the back yard and paddling with his peeps. Steps to the house and dock were plenty but not as scary as other commenters made it seem. The steps were very secure and safe. We grilled from the deck and did not need to leave the house except for provisions. All the fun of lakefront living is at your feet.

Summary: Everyone was so pleased with this home. Four adults shared the space comfortably. Beautiful inside and out, well appointed, comfortable beds. The host, Robert is was gracious and helpful.

Summary: Beautiful setting right on lake House was very clean and very very well stocked This is the first VRBO that we’ve stayed which was so well stocked with supplies, paper goods, etc The only concern for some people would be the amount of steps/stairs Robert, owner, was easy to communicate with Would definitely return

Summary: Our family stayed for a week. We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished, and hung out on the dock. Loved the view from the deck for morning coffee and enjoyed the wood burning stove. Robert the host and his family were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Amazing place for a getaway or retreat. Would love to stay in winter for skiing as it’s all right there. I would classify this house as a hidden gem among rentals as it has it all. Comfortable beds, updated kitchens and baths, amazingly well stocked with the essentials and fairly priced. Thanks again to the host for making a uniquely beautiful place ours for the week.
